Blue Mountain Lodge

Great care has been taken to create an inspiring accommodation, comparable with some of the best hotels worldwide.

Due to the absolute tranquillity and serenity that prevails at the Blue Mountain, the management felt it best not to spoil it with television sets in the rooms. Only the manor houses are equipped with full DSTV. The bar offers a selection of channels for the die-hard sport enthusiasts.

For ultimate privacy surrounded by verdant forests, the manor houses are the recent additions to the lodge. Reflecting the same splendour and luxury that Blue Mountain Lodge is famous for, each manor house has a marbled bathroom, a mahogany study, kitchen, lounge and dining room. A personal chef and Maitre'd are provided for the exclusive use of guests at the manor house.

There is a timber deck from where one can view a magnificent sunset or admire the beauty of a thousand stars alongside swimming pools that cascade into a stunning forest-lined lake.

There are eight Victorian Suites, delicately set at the foot of the main building.  A sparkling fountain ushers its guests into this haven of relaxation.

All the suites have king-sized, extra length beds, except for suite number 8, which has two three-quarter beds.

Every suite has an ensuite bathroom.

Four suites romantically set in a cobbled courtyard, with gallery bedrooms reminiscent of castles and Camelot. The suites overlook a forest region.

These duplex rooms have a lounge, bathroom with separate bath, shower and toilet downstairs and a gallery bedroom upstairs.

The style is provencal.

The Ballentine Suite or "The Presidential Suite" is in a classical regency style. This suite houses an elegantly furnished spacious lounge and a majestic bedroom. A private plunge pool silently glistens over luscious forestry.
