Chestnut Country Lodge

All the rooms are equipped with an overhead ceiling fan.

Each room is furnished with luxury comforters and blankets or duvets. Every room has a patio overlooking stunning views.

Our facilities include a large crystal clear swimming pool surrounded by a wooden pool deck, overlooking a splendid view, giving one the feeling of sitting among the trees.

It is an ideal spot to grab the binoculars and do some bird watching! There are a number of birds that feed and nest among the kiaat, Lowveld chestnuts, wild fig and Mobola plum trees, to name but a few of the many indigenous trees on the property. A resident brown-hooded kingfisher is a delight to watch, as it bathes in the garden birdbath.

The cosy bar and lounge are also comfortable places to relax in at the end of a day, for a sundowner or drinks before dinner.

Our three-course table meal is prepared using only the freshest of herbs, in-season vegetables and quality meat, fish and poultry for our discerning guests.

Check out time is 11.00, on the date of departure. The time may be extended by prior arrangement with the management. 

No children under the age of 12 is allowed.

Cancellation rules applicable are as follows:  

• Cancellations made 21 - 28 days prior to dates booked: 25% of the total invoice due.
• Cancellations made 14 - 21 days prior to dates booked: 50% of the total invoice due.
• Cancellations made seven - 14 days prior to dates booked: 75% of the total invoice due.
• Cancellations made seven days prior to dates booked: 100% of the total invoice due.
