Cuckoo Ridge

Twenty kilometers from the Kruger National Park, entering through Phabeni gate. Three kilometers from the Sabie River Adventure Centre which offers river rafting, quad biking, horse riding, and much more.

The Panorama route beckons with day trips to Gods Window, Blyde River Canyon, Burkes Luck Potholes, various waterfalls and Pilgrims Rest.

For those who enjoy a day's sightseeing, Hazyview is located at the foot of the Drakensberg Mountain, on the magnificent "Panorama Route". The area is teeming with a variety of natural, cultural and historic gems and offers a traveller some of the most spectacular views in South Africa.

Hazyview was founded in the early 20th Century by a Canadian Boer War veteran, named Perry, who was running away from a trumped-up murder charge down-country. Hazyview is now a bustling, peaceful market town at the threshold of the Kruger National Park. Its temperate climate, with hot summer days that are made cool by the evening showers and warm winter days of cloudless skies, makes Hazyview a genuine year-round destination.

The Sabie River Valley in which Hazyview is situated is bounded on all sides by indigenous bush. The fertile conditions have led to the farming of a huge variety of fruit and trees.

A number of small country style shopping experiences have recently added a popular new aspect to the town's appeal.

Children are not allowed at the Cuckoo Ridge.

In case of cancellation, the fee is worked out on the following basis:

• Cancellation made up to 30 days prior to arrival date - 10% of the total invoice amount.
• Cancellation made 29-15 days prior to arrival date - 25% of the total invoice amount.
• Cancellation made 14-7 days prior to arrival date - 50% of the total invoice amount.
• Cancellation made six days or less prior to arrival date - 100% of the total invoice amount.
• No show - 100% of the total invoice amount.
