Route via Nelspruit
Proceed from Johannesburg on N12, towards Witbank. N12 will become N4 on the route to Witbank. This is a toll road, with two toll points. N4 continues into Nelspruit.
On entering Nelspruit, follow the signs for White River on R40 and continue through White River, following R40 towards Hazyview, for approximately 40 km.
On reaching a T junction, turn left towards Hazyview. Drive through Hazyview, until you see the signs for Sabie. Turn left along R536 towards Sabie (on the corner is the trading post Perry's Bridge). Cuckoo Ridge is 14 km from this point, along R536 to Sabie, on the left hand side.

Route via Belfast
Follow the same route out of Johannesburg and pass Witbank. There is only one toll point in this route.
Turn left from N4 onto R540 at Belfast. Follow the signs for Dullstroom and Lydenburg. In Lydenburg, follow the signs for R37 to Long Tom Pass and Sabie.
In Sabie, follow the signs for Hazyview on R536.
Cuckoo Ridge is 30 km from Sabie, on the right hand side.
Both routes are approximately four hours from Johannesburg.
