Windmill Wine Shop and Cottages

The Windmill Wine Shop and Cottages are set on 22 hectares of malaria-free land, where indigenous bush mongoose, the very rare Red Duiker, Bushbuck, Caracal and an abundance of bird life can be seen.

Way out on the wine route, the hotel management has planted South Africa's most northern vineyard. The Windmill Wine Shop will eventually include home-grown-and-made Hazyview wines.

Guests are requested to contact the reception for checking out the possibility of late check out.

Children of all ages are permitted in self-catering cottages.

Children 14 years and older are permitted in Windmill Cottages - B&B or semi-catering cottages.

Cancellation rules applicable are as follows:  

• No Show or same day cancellation will incur a cancellation fee 100% of the total cost of accommodation.
• Cancellations made seven days or less prior to arrival - forfeiture of full deposit.
• Cancellations made eight to 14 days prior to arrival - forfeiture of 75% of the deposit.
• Cancellations made 15 to 21 days prior to arrival - forfeiture of 50% of the deposit.
• Cancellations made 22 to 28 days prior to arrival - forfeiture of 25% of the deposit.
• Cancellations made 28 days or more, prior to arrival - forfeiture of 15% of the total cost of accommodation administration fee charged.

Guests may also please note that in the event of premature departure, the cost for the full stay will be charged. This is not dependent on the occupancy levels of the cottages.

Payment in full should be made for bookings done during holidays, long weekends and during the month of December.
